It’s a fun game with a little crocodile called croc, the story goes that his parents lost him or something and the gobbos (little furry creatures) find him and teach him basic skills that will help him to grow up, any ways the mean people can’t remember what they are called, come and capture the gobbos, its up to Croc to rescue and battle the evil Dantinii (bad Guy).
The game starts off really easy and you will find yourself having fun, it get harder with every level like all games, you can collect the five different coloured gems to give you access to the bonus levels, they would be hidden anywhere in that level.

You can finish the level by
whacking the Gong (which you will find at the end of the level you are on) with your tail. Then a little yellow bird will lift you into the sky and fly you to the next level.
To save the Gobbos you can use keys, buttons and sometimes they will just be jumping around on their own.
The enemies vary, but aren’t that really creative, like some for instance have horns on their head and shoot fire from their sticks, some just take a run at you which gives you damage.
In croc it’s not like some other windows 95 games you have a certain amount of lives and when your time is up you will be forced to repeat that level all over again if you wish to advance to the next level.
The Graphics for such and old game are pretty good.
The controls did become annoying because it had a many amount of jumping, there is also different themed levels I think you travel to something like 5 different islands. Also if you want to complete the game you will need to catch / rescue all the gobos to get the jigsaw pieces witch will give you access to the secret island. This island has hard levels and eventually an annoying jumping boss battle.
Although the story line is not given to you properly (since there is no talking only gibberish) you will have an understanding. This game was aimed for young children, so don’t expect it to be the most challenging thing ever. There is a pretty good soundtrack to it as well, which made the game so much more enjoyable.
And I hope you found this review interesting!
