The doom games are probably the best games I’ve ever played. They are probably so good because of the variety of enemies and weapons. my personal favorite and most likely everyone else’s favorite is The BFG which stands for either the Big gun or the bio force gun its probably the bust gun ever made the only gun to exceeding it is a gun you aren’t supposed to find, which is the halo 2 scarab gun found on 4 levels.
My second favorite and most likely the most useful is the shotgun.

My second favorite and most likely the most useful is the shotgun. other elements that are good are all the dark corners and surprises and although its graphics are nothing like DOOM 3D graphics it still managed to surprise
and startle me like in the first level when the imp is in the high right corner near the end you hear him breathing but you cant find him and all of a sudden a fireball hits you in the face and before you can find him he throws another and then you find him. Another one is in I think the third level you’re just walking along and all of a sudden an invisible pinky demon attacks and you blast into mid air and he materializes and dies.
There’s also a variety of enemies like almost no other game can mach. like there’s the vicious hell knight, which with out any powerful weapons your almost certainly doomed, and then there’s the versatile imp easiest in the game the powerful pinky creature which has no other attack besides the powerful melee, the ever so many zombie and z-sec zombie.
And the flying cacodemon, and who could forget the monstrous cyber demon which can shoot rockets and stomp you into the ground. I love the doom games and personally recommend it as the best classic computer game ever and if I had the money and tools would make a poll and forum site to see why it was so popular.
But the downs are sometimes slow game play (as when your computer is doing too much) and levels are too short and that’s about it. and again I personally and almost all of the people at my school agree with me that this is the best classical game with the best game play and the best graphics of its time which sums up to download immediately and have the most fun of your life, you can tell this is a good game from the start you wont be disappointed at all!
