Game Review (written by Eric) Added on: 03/06/2008
Earthworm Jim is the sequel to the video game Earthworm Jim. Released in 1995, the lead character Jim the worm and his side-kick Snott is back and must find a way to stop Him’s girlfriend the princess from marrying Psy-Crow. The game was originally released for the Genesis, Super NES and MS-DOS systems. Later on it was released for the Play Station, Sega Saturn and the Game Boy Advance.
Now Jim has to go through the whole galaxy saving crows and just engaging in a fantastic adventure.

Now Jim has to go through the whole galaxy saving crows and just engaging in a fantastic adventure. The game features irreverent humor just like the original game. It may not be appropriate for very young players but it is pretty interesting for teens and adults.
The game has a diverse game play and each of the levels have different

missions and different styles. Jim has to jump and run through different levels. Different weapons will be made available to him. It really plays out like the original game so if you have already played Earthworm Jim then you would know how to play this game.
Many of the characters in the first game appear in the sequel: Bob the Goldfish, Psy-Crow, Princess Whats-Her-Name, ad Peter Puppy. But there are also new villains that will make it hard for earthworm Jim to succeed.
The graphics of the game is definitely better than the graphics of the first game. Earthworm Jim definitely looks fantastic with the suit on and the backgrounds and surroundings have astounding details. The sounds are also better because it is catchy and fun. Even the catchphrases are fun and loud and really get you completely in the mood for the game.
The obstacles and enemies are challenging enough so you won’t get bored with this game. The challenges also make the replay value of this game high because when you play the game, it is practically different each time.
This is a game that you can download and keep in your hard drive for a very long time because it’s something that you can play over and over. You can switch to other games and then when you finish it move on back to this game.
I remember buying this game in the 90s but I somehow lost it. I’m just glad that it can now be downloaded from the internet. I urge you to download this game now because as I remember it, it’s an extremely fun game that will keep you busy for many, many hours.
