I have a hard time believing it's been a decade since I played this game for the first time. This game is so addictive, so if you have a date or an appointment with a doctor, I'd stay away. Anyway, the gameplay is actually quite fun. You maneuver in and out of levels of awesomeness. As a pilot you get to fly all over the place blowing up tons of stuff. It's actually quite fun. The weapons are pretty dope as well, ranging from missiles to blasters and all sorts of redness.
I'm also a fan of the number of levels. To be honest I haven't actually rapped the game. And I know that it's crazy fun when you get to the end of the level and you have to fight the end boss. They can range anywhere from big giant robot looking ships, reminisent of the Star Wars battleship, to crafty sly looking fighter planes that look like a World War 2 plane remodeled with doper bigger more powerful guns.
One thing is true though, it's set at a level where you can get though it and not waist all your lives on the first level. Speaking of difficulty, being able to change between easy and not so easy is totally key. I know after a long day of chilling and working and stress from rush hour traffic, it's nice to come home and tone down the stress level by adjusting the difficulty level.

The game is very cool. It is adventures and very challenging. You have to defeat stage after stage of alien scenarios. There are multiple enemies that offer different challenges and also upgrades are available to your vessel. All in all a very entertaining game, definitely worth a look.
The graphics are pretty good and bright! The action is fast so unless you still using your old computer and you'll have no problem running this game. The other parts of the game aren't as impressive due to its repetitive sequence of events. But don't let that full you have no problem counting and racking up the hours with this gem, cause it will challenge you to no end, even the most savvy of gamers will be surprised at the challenge level that fire fight provides. You go through many various difficulty settings as you advance in the game.
The game borrows on old ideas such as the ghost enemy of the beloved Mario brothers’ series, the phenomenon where the ghost will attack once you aren’t looking! But in the case of fire fight it is the reverse as long as the enemy, on particular type, doesn't see your ship you'll be safe but once detected you get a kamikaze black ship coming for you. Best approach to defeating this guy is to hit it hard before he has a chance to detect you, otherwise be prepared for heavy damage. Another type of adversary are the small cluster attackers that use the swarm and conquer approach, similar to divide and conquer but with smaller pieces.
In closing the game is definitely challenge and anybody who thinks that games are all about fancy movie clips and cutting age graphics will be brown away at this now outdated graphics game, which once was actually on the cutting edge of the graphic gaming industry. You'll be surprise at the challenge to fun! You’ll need downloading it immediately!

This game was absolutely amazing. I couldn't stop playing it for hours! From the beginning to the end it was nothing, but excitement. I usually don't like to try new games out, but I was definitely very impressed by this one. I would highly recommend to everyone to try this out.Hayk (04/21/2007)
