Game Review (written by Chrissi) Added on: 11/18/2007
G’Nome is an action packed first person robot combat game. You will be taking control of robots taking part in head to head fighting trying to destroy each other. The single player mode of this game is entirely mission oriented. You take on the role of a human pilot and try to successfully complete more than twenty missions. Each mission will increase in difficulty and skill demands. A lot of the missions will require tactics that you will not immediately take clue to.
The missions can be compared to the typical missions you’d see in flight simulator games, just a lot more difficult.
For example what you would be doing in a mission is first going to waypoint one and destroying the power generator. Then you will take out the bridge at waypoint two. You will then receive instructions of when to go to waypoint three. If your robot has been over damaged or destroyed there is always an awesome chance that you will be able to go hijack another robot to continue on with your mission. The game is quite hard to complete, but eventually if you stick to this over the top game you will.
There is one downside with the set up of this game; you are unable to save in the middle of a mission. Some of the missions can require you to complete

four or more tasks so being able to save in mid mission would have been a great added feature.
G’Nome is playable multiplayer over a local area network or the Internet. If you weren’t able to play it online you’ll still enjoy it just as much as you would play it online. The graphics in this game have been well detailed ranging from the designs done of the robots to the detail of the landscape. There has been some time and effort put into the creation of this game, but like the many games that were created like this one.
G’Nome is not too difficult of a game once you figure out all the tasks you are suppose to do. It is a highly enjoyable game in single player mode and multiplayer mode. There is no way you’ll be disappointed with the game play and graphical aspect of this game. If you enjoy shooter games where you are in control of a robot and many others if your original gets destroyed than this would be a great addition. There is no possible way you’ll find yourself turning this game off just because. You’ll be ripping yourself away from this game.
