Guerilla war is one of the best made for the nintendo entertainment system. Following the style of contra with the view of zelda, it really captivates you with excellent gameplay. It takes place during the bay of pigs. It’s a two player game where you throw grenades, get into tanks, shoot up the bad guys and collect up grades. A huge game with lots of levels and challenging bosses.
My favorite thing to do in this game is get in a tank and start blasting away at everything that moves (including hostages that your supposed to save for bonus points).

My favorite thing to do in this game is get in a tank and start blasting away at everything that moves (including hostages that your supposed to save for bonus points). With hundreds of enemies running at you, your only hope is to shoot, blowup, and run over everything in your path. This game actually reminds me of another
game called "jackel" in terms of the multiple different gun power-ups that you can receive and the fact that you can rescue hostages.
The bosses in this game are un-real. The first boss itself is difficult so you can imagine what the others are like. Growing up I used to play this game until the sun was up and I had to go to school. I would literally dream about this game and of nintendos signature addicting music scores (which this game has an awesome one)
All in all I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys carnage on a mass scale.
I would give this game an overall score of 8.5 for the time it was made it was up there with contra and no one knows about this game. A Classic
