Game Review (written by Chrissi) Added on: 02/02/2008
Time to put your children to bed and be a part of the R-rated shooter gaming world. When I first heard of this game I fully expected to be playing some intense bowling game, well Kingpin: Life of Crime is definitely not a bowling game.
Violence is one thing you will not find lacking in this game with all the killing and slaughtering you will be accomplishing. When this game was released it was shortly after a tragic event occurred in the US making it hard for the release of the game at the time.

Violence is one thing you will not find lacking in this game with all the killing and slaughtering you will be accomplishing. When this game was released it was shortly after a tragic event occurred in the US making it hard for the release of the game at the time. Many retailers were refusing to put it in their stores, but of course the game still made it out in the world and took its course.
When Kingpin was designed

the creators took a lot of thought to the overall graphical appeal of the game. The amount of detail that has been placed has allowed gamers to feel like they are right in the game themselves, especially if they have one of those nifty big screen televisions.
For the game itself you will be traveling throughout many different areas such as train yards and even chemical plants. The way these areas have been depicted is astounding. For the entire game every single setting has had so much thought put into it that makes everything efficient and innovative.
When you first start off the game you will have a slew of men beating you up who are working for Kingpin. The city that you are in is full of disastrous crime and violence that is quite disgusting. You’ve been warned to stay out of Kingpin’s territory, but of course you will never listen. Grab that handy lead pipe and take revenge on these over dramatic men.
Kingpin: Life of Crime has followed the plot to a key. Everything is understanding and smooth allowing the gamer to stay in the know and understand everything that is going on around them. Beware of the amount of profanity and graphical violence that has been included into this game though, it is surely not suitable for the younger crowd to play.
Difficulty is another thing. The game can become a little difficult at times especially if you have never experienced it before. After a little trial and error you will shortly get the hang of things and be killing your way to the end. Interact with many other people to get all the needed information, but be careful who you encounter could bring up some testy situations. If you find that you are having a hard time taking on the gangs on your own hire your own gang of men. They will love to fight for a price. Make great use of the shops to purchase new items for your men and yourself, they will assist in getting you further into the game.
Violence and crime are two things you will not find lacking in Kingpin: Life of Crime. Every single detail about this game is so astounding, gamers will love getting revenge on a man they have never even met. Take part on this gruesome adventure and destroy the enemies, we all know you want to get that needed revenge.
