Game Review (written by Wozza_man) Added on: 09/23/2006
Leiro is a fast paced dos game that can be played and enjoyed by almost anyone! This game is like worms but is not turn based. You can download skins from the internet and also mods. Skins are just what your player would look like in the game. Skins give you no advantage they just make you look cool. Oh yeah! MODS are basically weapons that you use in the game.
At the start of the game you can choose about 6 weapons and use them until the game is over.

At the start of the game you can choose about 6 weapons and use them until the game is over. Whilst playing the game you can pick up weapons. When you pick up another weapon, it will replace the one you would have just been using. Before you play the game you can go

onto the weapons settings and disable the weapons you don't what to have being used.
When you’re in the game you can dig though some terrain to hide or just to get to other people. You can use a ninja rope, this helps you get around the course faster and with less effort. There is also jump, move left and right, shoot and change weapon.
The levels you can make or download from the internet as well. There are many good levels to choose from. You can make your own choosing the option from the main menu or you can download "wormhole" to get better results.
One of the best things about leiro is that you can play on-line or LAN! The on-line play is very simple and could be used by any old dummy. While your playing LAN or on-line you can chat to other people that are in your game. You can Host games to and choose the MODS and settings that will be used through out the game. In the settings menu (this can be accessed through the main menu) you can change various settings, such as blood. This setting can be increased or lowered to suit people’s taste in pixel blood.
Leiro is an old game but it is a very, very good DOS game and is worth downloading. I Would give this game:
Graphics: 4/10
Sound: 5/10
Gameplay: 10/10
Learning curve: 5 Mins
Replay ability: It won’t get boring, it is an engineering marvel.
Don't be put of by the graphics and the sound ratings this game can be played for hours on end and never get old! This is a great game, download it NOW!!!
Thanks for reading!
