Magic Carpet Plus

For the time of this game it was way ahead. This game is an expansion with 25 extra levels than the normal magic carpet game. The dynamics or 3-d graphics of this game for back in the day are excellent. It also has a very good plot to the game where you basically have to have the world. Another great feature to this game is that it is not a game you can beat in a day. It takes a long time to overcome the islands and there are many of them.

The plot that you are a wizard fighting off monsters is a very creative idea and innovative and the game itself is technically impressive. It also has a very great maker, electronic arts which is well known today and is an excellent maker. The graphics are very cutting edge for its time. I just have to say this because for when it came out in 1994 it even had fog in the background, images in the water and you could fight off monster they were very well designed.
This game also had a multi play set so you could play with up to eight different friends and have a good time. As well The 100 game levels and wonderful spell animation and effects are still brilliant to play with.
The music is combined with beautiful ambient sounds, excellent voice acting, and when combined together the music and sound effects make you fell as if you were really there. Furthermore, the controls here are excellent and very easy to use learn. I myself prefer the mouse and keyboard combination but you may use joysticks as well. The mouse controls your direction in which you are facing and the keyboard arrows control how you move. Clicking the mouse will use your spells.
I also thought this game is extremely challenging and will last a very long time. The early later scenarios are easy and introduce you to the game but as you progress they get MUCH more difficult. Thankfully you cannot cheat in this game because all cheating does is make the game last a couple days and there is no more of a challenge.
I believe that this game is outstanding and worth buying or downloading the demo off the internet. This game will keep you playing it for years to come. I myself actually have this game and even thought is was made in 1994-1996 I am still playing it from time to time because it is awesome and I hope there will be a new game coming out the is virtually the same but even better graphics and a better storyline.
