When I first bought the game I thought it had outstanding graphics for the time. What also amazed me was the great sound it had. It was very addictive and I found myself playing it for hours a day. The game play is alright but I liked the amazing graphics and sound the best. I played the game numerous times and never got bored. It was easy to learn how to play and terribly addictive. It was one of the best games I had ever played because it was very simple to get the hang of it.
I learned how to play in a short amount of time. When I bought it I did not think that it would have simply stunning graphics and great sound to go with it.
In Mars Taxi you are operating an individual taxi company on Mars and the Martians need to be taxied back and forth from work. There are numerous obstacles that you will need to contend with such as police drones, moving platforms, magnetic rocks, radioactive rocks, security pods, hyperspace tunnels and force shields. You will need to complete more and more jobs with each level prior to continuing to the following level. Your fuel needs to be wisely used. You will need to buy fuel and if you don't remember
it could be lethal. If you collect a sufficient amount of power hearts you can increase the amount of lives you have and the amount of fuel you have gets a minute boost. Skillfully flying your taxi can earn you a large amount of money. To not irritate your passengers you must set down smoothly. As your ship increases in size you will have to frequently stop for fuel for the taxi. You have to touch down on platforms to give a ride to your passengers and transport them to other platforms as quickly as possible to drop them off to earn money. It can be challenging to transport your passengers since gravity can make it very difficult. The are a number of difficulty levels and you will get more money from fares and you will have to refuel more often with the higher difficulty levels. You need to keep your customers happy in the game to complete it successfully.
Overall, it is a great game mostly for the graphics and the sound. I think I would probably give it four and a half out of five. I would highly recommend this game for everyone to play.
