Mortal Kombat provides gamers with a sensational gaming experience. The First time I ever played the game it was over at a friend's house when I was in elementary school. I quickly fell in love with the game-play and the quest to take down all the characters in the game.
The first element of the game-play of Mortal Kombat that I truly enjoy is the head to head battles you can have with your friends. Looking through the manual or the online cheat codes and learning how to enter each characters special move was highly entertaining.

The first element of the game-play of Mortal Kombat that I truly enjoy is the head to head battles you can have with your friends. Looking through the manual or the online cheat codes and learning how to enter each characters special move was highly entertaining. You could go at it for hours upon hours and never reach a state of boredom. I also like how you have to lose twice or win twice before advancing
or being eliminated. That leaves chance out of it and often times when playing friends and improving upon your skill level the game would venture into the anticipatory third match. I enjoyed many a good time going head to head against friends.
The other part of game-play is the quest to beat every character in the game. When nobody else is around, you're bored and you have some free time, it's a great way to mellow out and have a good time. Beating up on people is always fun and having a goal set out for you and trying to attain to it is great fun.
The downfall on game-play is that once you beat the game the first time there really is not a whole lot left to make a fuss about. Getting to the top and winning it all feels good, but as you improve on the game and get good it gets easier and eventually it isn't even all that challenging to run the table and beat everyone. My advice would be to play until you get bored, put it up on a shelf and then wait a couple years and uncover the magic again. This is one of those games that you can always come back to for a fun times and lots of memories.
The graphics of Mortal Kombat really aren't all that great, but that is relative really. When the game first came out it was unbelievable and top notch, now when you compare it to the play station 3 and the Xbox 360 of course it is going to fall short. However, Mortal Kombat is a classic game and it's also tons of fun, so if you have an opportunity to play or download a game, why not kick back with a classic hand to hand combat game in Mortal Kombat?
