NAM is an arcade action game that was released in the 90s by GT Interactive. The shooting game features a first person perspective. It will have you playing the role of Alan “the Bear” Westmoreland, a Marine Corps Sergeant.
You have to go through several levels competing against many enemies. It’s like many Hollywood action movies where the protagonist is able to take on whole armies and emerge triumphant in the end despite having to endure many injuries and having to face unlimited numbers of opponents.
Initially you will have limited ammunition and life but both can be replenished with ammunition and Red Cross bags that can be found in the level.
You can also ask for back up support during parts of the game that become particularly difficult. The only problem with requesting for aerial and artillery support is that the marines may initiate a surprise attack and you are also at risk of getting hit by them.
The game is both challenging and fun. When you go through the different levels, you will realize that he enemies are well hidden and are hard to see. Sometime you will have to endure a few hits to know where the enemy forces are hiding. You will have access to powerful weapons that include
an M72 rocket launcher and M79 grenade launcher. These weapons are able to see the nearest enemy.
The graphics of the game are good animated and fun. The sounds are realistic and add to the whole experience of the game.
This game can be fun for those who like their games realistic. For one, the biggest difficulty that you will have to face with this game is how the enemies are not easy to see.
If you like simple shoot them up games, then you can download this game for many hours of gaming fun. If you like adventure in your games then you should downloading this one.
