As well as massive action, it also provides a challenge. You have to actually think to play this game.

There might be mindless slaying of monsters but there are various puzzles that require you to pay attention to your surroundings and not just use the "hack and slash" method of game play. Also has content for those who are
not of the weak stomach. With loads of blood and guts flying out when you kill your attackers, you might want to think twice about letting younger players take a crack at this game.
Ok Now let’s discuss your choices of the characters. You have a monk by the name of Ignatius Blackwood who is devoted to killing hellish creatures. He uses a staff as his main weapon which you can upgrade as you progress through the game. Your other choice is Nadia Franciscus. She is a master swordsman and as with Ignatius, you can make it more powerful as you progress. She is in this adventure to avenge her father's murder at the hands of Adam Crowley, a member of the Brotherhood of Hecate.
This brotherhood is devoted to turning man into beast through experimenting and creating an elixir that gives a man superhuman powers but in turn mutilating its body into a hideous looking creature. One of the downsides to this game is the controls. They are hard to get down and the attack combos are tricky to master. The 3-D environment makes for an interesting play style of almost freeform fighting.
The game is almost impossible at higher difficulties to master making it a very hard game to play very long. All and all this game is a good game for those who like and live by mindless and senseless slaughtering. As for those who like in depth storylines you might like this one but the storyline does take a while to get off and going to a good pace to keep you enthralled and wanting to play more. As for the difficulty level, this is where the game loses some replay value.
