This is just another Pac Man game. There are about 50 levels and its graphics are pretty good for its time. It's got your basic Pac Man playability: you collect the dots and collect the big dots to kill the enemies. The door at the end of the level will open once you've eaten all the dots and then you can advance to the next level. There have been some major enhancements on the graphics as it's now a generic sidescroller rather than the basic arcade set view that the classic Pac Man was.
It's also very colourful and animated as opposed to the 16-bit colours they used to use in the old Pac Man games. There are some upgrades you can get for Pac Man. Different coloured rings you have to jump through will get you different powers. Green is a magical rope, red is a sledge hammer, yellow is fire power and sdo forth and so on.
The story line is that the evil "Ghost Witch" cast a spell onto poor Pac Man and it sent him back in time and he has to pass the levels to be able to get back to the present and show that Ghost Witch who is the boss. You have to go through different "worlds" each of which has a certain
amount of "levels" in them. The concept is much similar to some classic Mario and/or Donkey Kong games. The worlds have different themes which can make it rather exciting to get to the the next world. No doubt you will spend a couple hours in order to beat this game fully. In fact, you will probably want to just keep playing and complete it in just one sitting... it's that good!
It's pretty simple and easy to learn and it's fun, not too hard. It can be frustrating at times, but that's just like the classic Pac Man. There are many remakes of Pac Man, including 3D Pac Man, but this has to be the best one as it stays true to what Pac Man is. Just run around collecting them glowy dots and you'll eventually clock the whole game. It can take a fair while because the world is so big, but it's so worth it! True Pac Man freaks will love this game with its classic sounds and fun animations and game play. It's just as addictive as ever and so much fun to play. I love it. Trust me on this one, get it! You wont regret it!
