This game is really rather cute. It has nice graphics that make you nostalgic. The graphics were simple, yet very colourful and vibrant. The drawings were simple yet really appropriate and it went well with the whole theme. I love that old school style of games. Pity they don't make them like they used to. LOL! Shoot me now! I bet all the Gen Ys are thinking "what the heck is this person on about?" but believe me kids the new games, although fantastic in the graphic dept, lack the character and spirit of these oldies we all love so much.
I guess it helps if you liked the cartoon as a kid also. You can relate to the characters better. Olive and the cheese burger dude. Hilarious! And so so so so so so cute.
I had a lot of fun playing this game and remember it as a classic I used to be obsessed with. Embarrassing to admit it but I used to love coming home from school and playing it on my Nintendo.
This is a budget game so please keep that in mind people. BUDGET GAME. Nothing too fancy here. The characters looked like themselves which was great as sometimes budget games can change the way the characters look. I was most happy about that.
Playing a sailor
was a lot of fun and the music was kind of cute also.
The yellow wall on one of the levels made my eyes a bit sore and red and really quite trance like (if you've ever been drunk you'll know what I mean) but apart from that I have no other complaints or negative feedback about any aspect of this game.
I guess the only down fall was sometimes the game froze on me when I reached a higher level. It wasn't at any particular level and I'm not sure whether it was just me or what (who knows) but it did freeze on me and instead of restarting at the last level I left off at it would take me all the way back to the start of the game which really sucked. This didn't happen every single tme I played the game - yet it probably happened around half the time.
Thanks for the game! I would definitely play it again and recommend it to any one who wishes to kill a tiny bit of time. It wasn't too easy or too hard which is always refreshing as some games can be pointless like that which i absolutely hate!
