“Addictive” is the best word for describing this game. It is the sequel to a similar game called Dionakra. For the highly competitive person, this could be an excellent choice of video games. The thrill is always there to beat that last great high score or smoke the score your best friend put up the previous night.
The format of this game is simple, as are all games of this style. The gamer controls a moveable paddle of varying sizes at the bottom of the screen.

The format of this game is simple, as are all games of this style. The gamer controls a moveable paddle of varying sizes at the bottom of the screen. Above, near the top, are several layers of bricks. The gamer is challenged to bounce at least one (sometimes more) moving balls off from the bricks to “break” them and remove them from the playing field. As bricks are removed, gamers can unlock and
discover numerous power-up items to improve the player’s paddle. Such power-up items include: lengthening the paddle, speeding up the ball, slowing the ball, adding balls, death shots, skipping the current level and so forth. Probably the most useful power-up is the “glue” ball, which allows the ball to stick on the paddle until released by the gamer. This allows for more perfectly aimed and timed shots, and will surely help the gamer out of many of Rapanui’s fifty levels.
While the object of the game seems simple, it’s really great and interesting. The levels grow in difficulty as the game progresses. Balls become quicker and harder to control, paddles become shorter and the bricks themselves are also subject to change. Later levels allow for more bricks, which greatly tightens up the playing field. The ball returns to the paddle much more quickly and requires more skill and practice to control. Bricks also become tougher to “kill,” requiring more hits as Rapanui progresses toward the later levels.
The flipside of the addictive nature of this game is its blatant repetition. The experienced gamer may become bored with the easy early levels of play while waiting for the more significant challenges of ensuing rounds. While the colors of the bricks and motion of the ball will create some extra interest, for the most part!
All in all this game is fantastic, interesting and really great! If you don’t play in it you need do it immediately! I’m sure you’ll be satisfied and delighted! It’s worth downloading!
