The game opens to the cry of your protagonist saying his name: 'SPACE DUDE!!!' It's still so nostalgically clear in my memory - I can still hear his Southern California meets Revenge of the Nerds voice! The game consists of you (Space Dude) defending your world/home from would be conquers. The official villain is King Dorf although I don't remember ever actually seeing him in the game. The time in-game is spent fighting off all of King Dorf's minions. The game play broke into a surprising number of segments for such a simple game.

One segment had Space Dude zooming around on an ethereal surf board avoiding barriers. In another; the hero has to construct a turret and then use it to defend against
attackers. Something that I found interesting about the game is that you can chose which missions you'll use to defeat your enemies. If you had a favorite mini-game you could potentially play it more often than the others. You'd pick your scenario, and then once you've completed it, you'd surf back to the menu and pick another.
This game had cut scenes as well! I remember thinking the game had 'great' graphics considering I was running it without stutter on a 486. During that time there was your typical learning curve where I'd fail until I had learned what was expected of the level. Once the basics were grasped it was simply a matter of hanging on till you decided to walk away. My roommate got hooked on this game hardcore! He could play it for hours and maintains that the lack of difficulty is a plus for the game - not a negative. The lack of conclusion doesn't seem to bother him. He's a little older than me. I'd recommend download just hear the warrior cry of the man himself – Space Dude!
