Bubsy games are quite simple when it comes to the controls that you will be using. Player can move left and right across the screen, jump and glide. Gliding will allow your character to cross larger gaps and even bounce up to four times the normal height on certain objects throughout the game. You are also capable of changing the controls in the options menu.
You can easily kill your enemies just jumping atop of them, but be careful because if you touch an enemy while not falling will cause you to loose one of your life points. You will be able to collect points by going around collecting yarn balls, defeating your enemies and finishing each level. There is one noticeable glitch with the game but nothing too big. This would have to be the background, but because the game is so comical you would barely even notice. Throughout the game you will be able to collect bouncing TV’s that will allow the player to view more of the cartoon.
Super Bubsy features completely new high-resolution graphics and has new game elements. You will also be able to get the entire Bubsy Cartoon TV Pilot. This game has so many things to look forward to which makes it a very enjoyable and children friendly game. With games like this for the year of its release it began to show what the gaming world was capable of doing. Bubsy games seemed to have been influenced by the ever so popular Sonic games, but Bubsy does have those ambitious features that make it its own game. The levels are larger compared to other games and have more varied themes. The graphics are very bright and colourful which makes it more appealing to the youthful eye and the music that is played can be very catchy. This game is very enjoyable.
