The first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was awesome! I remember playing it way back! I really liked it and played it a lot. But it in no way compares to the greatness of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. The graphics and colors and layout and design and even plot and enemies and everything are just so much improved over the first one. The second, or sequel, or whatever it was, was a little shaky. It sure didn’t live up to the original.
I think it was called The Arcade Game or something like that. It was a real ripoff.
The graphics were awful. You couldn't even tell the turtles apart and it didn't help that the characters were so small. Now, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is a vast improvement over all others! The game has the greatest graphics; it’s almost like watching the cartoon. The background is like no other. They have added lots of diversity to keep the game more interesting. Now the background helps to hold your attention while you figure out the plot. Instead of just the same old boring repetitive buildings in the background, you see actual sewers, forts, snow, different distinguished buildings, and streets.
It doesn't seem so
pointless, like you are wasting your time. The characters are large and easy to tell apart & the bad guys are easy to distinguish. You can determine the abilities of the ninja enemies by the colors they wear to know if they have knives, swords or whatever and some of them just use karate or some form of martial hand to hand combat. The bosses are very realistic and challenging with wonderful graphic detail. You will also encounter big bugs, and robots, and helicopters and other obstacles along the way. I think this is the greatest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles yet. It certainly makes up for Konami’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game flop!
I would definitely recommend The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 PC game to others. Everyone who comes to our home just loves to play it, of all ages from ages three to fifty-three! It's hard to believe that the Turtles have been around so long. I remember when they first came out when I was in high school in the 80's and my little brother was a fanatic! He collected all the figures and every single accessory, movie, game, and anything else Turtlish. It's an awesome game...go play it!
