Game Review (written by Seanzee) Added on: 05/01/2007
Terminator 2 is a FPS that moves you to the right and stops you at certain checkpoints, there’s a boss for each level and this is a fairly rough game when it comes to SNES anyways. A very good way to kill 30 minutes or more depending on how long you last, I usually die on the 2nd level. This game is one of those games that you tend to play with your friends as it has a second player feature as well (or at least for SNES it did) its basically a port of an arcade game that I, personally, used to find at the local bowling alley and would chuck 20 dollars or more into, it can be addictive for younger kids, and considered stupid or nostalgic for the veteran gamers of the era (90's baby yeah!).
This game can also be quite stimulating for your drug addict friends while they are high, considering this game has moments that are the equivalent of a strobe light. All in all this game is great for just about any age and level of education. Its a simple start and shoot game. Similar to games such as Beach Head or Doom.
The graphics in these game are far from great however the close up shoot outs with T-100 (or whatever those skeleton butt munches are called) are pretty well detailed for a simple arcade machine that you can still find at the Drive In Theatre in Barstow, CA. The enemies also vary, your first boss is one of those huge land things that originally killed

Reese's friend in Terminator 1, and the enemies go from skeleton terminators to more hard to spot (no seriously, they blend in with civilians that you’re not supposed to kill) terminators that are wearing clothes and have skin. You get grenades, missiles, bullets, lasers, hell, everything launched, shot, or chucked at you.
Your weapon can be upgraded for a short period of time, your weapon also has a kind of "charge" like a battery. If you shoot too much, the charge goes down too fast and you have to wait for it to recharge so you can shoot and actually do damage to opponents. Upgrades also will make your weapon extremely powerful and you can destroy opponents much faster than normal. You also come equipped with missiles. These can be fired and have a homing device on them for ease of killing the many opponents
