Well let's see where to start. This game is fun for all. Whether you are a huge fan of The Simpson’s or Bart him self. It is a single player game and offers a vast number of way to keep yourself entertained. Your main objective is to stop The Space Mutants from collecting all the things they need to create a powerful weapon that will end the world. Playing as Bart Simpson you have to look for and collect several different objects. An example of some object you will find along your quest are hats, purple items, exit signs, balloons, and of course a nuclear rod or two.

Bart is the only one who even knows that the aliens are plotting to
end the world. That of course makes things just a bit more complex. The way I see it if it is more complex it is more fun.
The craters’ of The Simpson’s: Bart vs. The space Mutants did an amazing job involving all the favourite characteristics of the long running television show. The main bosses and various levels you encounter will definitely look familiar to you if you have watch The Simpson’s before. They sure do make it funny too. At one point in the game you are running all over the town spray painting anything purple and you have to spray paint Moe (the guy that works in the bar on the show). In addition to spray paint you also will be able to use other items as weapons such as The Sling-Shot or Dart-Gun. If you collect enough coins you are able to buy more weapons further along in the game. As for protective items, you will find your X-ray Glasses to be quite effective. They give Bart the ability to tell who is an alien and who is a human being. Whey you able to find an alien hiding in a human you will get a letter to help spell the out all The Simpson's names. Be sure you don't just go jumping on anyone. If you jump on someone who is not an alien you can die.
In the game play you are only able to be hit twice. I think that made things a bit too hard for my liking. Yeah you get a few extra lives but man there are a few parts that can really get you frustrated. Like Mario brothers and the 1 up mushroom, in this game as you collect Krusty icons to gain extra lives. The game would be so much better if you just had more lives available to you. It is still fun even if you can't beat it. Give it a try.
