Game Review (written by Deltak6) Added on: 12/03/2009
Thunder brigade is one of those classic games. It is a mix between action arcade and a sort of tank shooter, this game is unique. The first time that I played this game I instantly loved it, for the time the graphics were unique. The graphics used in this game may annoy some gamers that are used to high tech graphics of the new era of gaming, but the graphics are good for the time in which it was created.
The game consists of missions in whom you fly hover tanks around several worlds and 30 missions.
This game not only has a multitude of missions, but you can also play without a reason on the instant action button. The game something is very hard it often takes many shots from the rail guns and rockets, this game has a very high difficulty level. The missions are very similar to most first person shooters, so therefore you get many of the same missions that you get in a first person shooter, defense of bases and attack of enemy base. Some of the missions are very hard even for the hardness level of the game, mainly because the sheer numbers of enemy forces that you have to face. But not ever mission is just a single tank mission, often you can command

many hover tanks that assist you in the mission.
The weapons thunder brigade are very limited and only have a all up tally of nine weapons including some of the non direct fire weapons like laser designators, which functions as some sort of high tech air strike.
The storyline is based around a war between 3 faction’s united system, earth alliance and Halon Empire. There are many different types of tanks, different types for each faction. This ads a great diversity to the game, nobody likes a game with the same sprite for the everything.
The game not only has a single player mode, but it has a multiplayer over an internet connection, which is a good feature. Which means you can enjoy thunder brigade with your friends.
The controls aren’t brilliant but all games have their faults. This is where the game has some serious faults, the targeting and the whole driving system gets annoying, but over looking this fact, the gameplay makes up for it.
All in all, this game is one of the greats from the 90’s, for a nice fun time, it would be great to download this game I give it 7 stars out of 10.

A nice game. Thunder Brigade has nice smooth scrolling 3D graphics. The gameplay is excellent for the type of game. Definitely worth playing!
