Game Review (written by Dcunningham) Added on: 12/10/2006
This was one of my favorite games. You control a spaceship and fly through challenging screens while shooting at other ships. You have a decent arsenal of different weapons you can use depending on your preference. It's a neat little game. It takes a little while to get used to the controls - like any flight simulator game, but it's simple enough so you can start playing and having fun after a short time. Once you’re used to it, you can even control up to 4 ships at once.

If you like games with a lot of action, ones that are constantly moving and don't have a lot of down time, you'll like this game. The graphics aren't the best, but the game layout is great and if you're looking for something to have fun with, this is the game to play.
You can play the game using the standard out of the box levels or you can design your own depending on what you want your game to be like. You re-equip your ship before each mission and have to manage your ammo and battle damage. If you run low on ammo or are getting a lot of damage, you can land on a pad to re-supply or repair,

but, you have to find the pad first. This is a great feature and makes it challenging to manage your ship. You need to decide when you might need to supply and how often so you that you can finish out the flight.
The weapons arsenal at your command has quite a few different options. The different weapons you can use makes the game that much more interesting. The gun is cool, but it's always nice to have other weapons to fool around with. You have the gun on every flight, but you can only pick one other weapon to bring with you on each mission. I wish you could bring more on each flight, but hey that's the game.
I also wish the game had more in terms of a computer opponent. Playing the game now it isn't always easy to find other players. Since you can only play in multiplayer mode, you either need to find some other players, or you can play them out yourself. It would be cool to just have this as a simple shoot-up game for the road or something. Multiplayer is great, but this game would also be great as a solo if you could play against the computer as an opponent. I guess building in that feature would have required a lot more programming.
