Wizkid is an action adventure that is the sequel to the game Wizball. The two games have many different characteristics between them. With Wizkid you are no longer bouncing around and you have full control over Wizkid and his movements. You will have to move your character around the screen smashing into bricks that with fly around colliding with enemies. Your mission is to clear the entire screen of the enemies and collect the coins that have been dropped. The coins do disappear quite quickly so you must pick them up fast and then go to the next level.

It is best to attempt killing more than one enemy with one brick, as it will release a bubble. The bubble will contain
such things like a nose or teeth. The nose allows you to juggle the bricks and the teeth will allow you to grab hold of bricks. Normally by killing more than one enemy will send out a colored bubble. The bubbles will form a tune that is at the top of your screen. Once the tune has been completed, you will be taken to a shop where you are able to buy items that you need to get to the next stage.
If you accidentally destroy all the bricks and there are still enemies alive you will be taken to a puzzle where you can solve the Crossword 2091 for extra money. You will have words to put on the screen. Each must overlap and use the other words letters. There will be a time limit for each move you do. If you are unable to complete the crossword you will be taken back to the game.
The graphics that have been displayed in this game are done with a lot of colors. There is a lot of comical design as well. Each level is designed differently with the placement of the bricks and the various enemies. Everything that has been done graphically has a great arcade feel with a little added touch.
Wizkid has been a great addition to the Wizball collection. With your goal in the game to throw bricks at a bunch of little enemies throughout your screen what can be better than that. The game doesn’t come off to be too difficult, but when you are attempting to put the crossword together in a limited amount of time you may get a little on edge because you know you could use that money to get you further in the game. The aspect of throwing bricks around the screen does actually become hard at times, more so depending on the number of bricks you have compared to the number of enemies so use those bricks wisely. Wizkid is a great game that will have you hooked for years to come.
