Game Review (written by Stinkin_cheeze) Added on: 07/04/2007
Story: you play as a sort of "computer caretaker" in a computer world, set out to defeat an enemy team who are determined on stealing important information. Now you must fight them all, and ultimately crash the system to prevent this from happening.
Gameplay: This is a fighting type of game, which I have been a huge fan of ever since I played Mortal Kombat on my Nintendo. The game has the likeness of an arcade-style game, like Virtua Fighter, or Street Fighter, Tekken, etc. What is unique about Zero Divide however is the creativity, story, and characters-the characters are robots, humanoid-androids of some sort, and very nicely designed.

There are 10 enemy-robots that you have to defeat, including 2 hidden bosses (nice). Each have their own range of special

attacks. You also have the choice out of 9 different characters to fight. There are also nicely designed and elaborate stages.
Graphics: The graphics for this game are as I must say "beautiful"!-one of the nicest ones I've seen so far, and I'm happy to have discovered such a gem here. They may not match up to today's graphics, but in my opinion, it's a pretty close call. All the images are 3-D rendered, and has great animation and color - I became so absorbed and entranced by the game that soon nothing else seem to matter, like eating or taking a shower. I tend to get quickly hooked to a game, and stay on literally all day.
Sound: the sound is pretty decent-I had some trouble getting it to sound right, but I found that adjusting the cycles seemed to solve that. There are a lot of sound effects as well. The music is sort of a techno/electronica type of music, which some people seem to not favor so much, but I had no problem with it.
I remember playing this for the first time on my play station-and instantly fell in love with it. It's quite underrated I think. It's got enough gameplay to keep me satisfied, it certainly is a good memory, and fails to get old for me. Hopefully it'll do the same for you. I have high doubts that it should disappoint anyone. Just give it a try, and see what you think.
