Game Review (written by Chrissi) Added on: 11/25/2007
Snooper Troops is a great educational adventure for the younger crowd. You will take on the roll of a detective taking on the entire standard investigating tasks. Some of these tasks include questioning various witnesses or investigating places for clues. You are equipped with a lot of high tech gadgets that will assist in all your investigation.
This game is great for the ages of ten and up. It is made to be simple, but still challenging for that age group. The game is definitely user friendly and a very interesting plot that keeps young minds interested for more than twenty minutes. Some of the learning aspects that are included into this game are the teaching of taking notes, drawing maps, organizing information you receive, and work on their reasoning skills. With this game having some great educational aspects, it is definitely a must if you have school aged children under your roof.
There are so many things they will take part in while learning. They have the use of the SnoopNet computer, which assists with information they’ve collected, and there is also a camera that will allow them to take photographs of certain items they locate on scenes. There is the addition of a notebook that will automatically track the clues they uncover during their investigation. Your investigation of this game is to discover why the Kim family is being chased out of their home. After you put all the information together and get thinking, you soon will discover the reasoning behind why they vacated their home.
Snooper Troops is by far a great educational game. Most parents wouldn’t want their children sitting playing computer games, but this is one of those games you will encourage your child to play. With all the learning that takes place throughout the entire game in a fun way they may not even be able to tell they are learning themselves, while your snickering in your head that you are getting them to sit and play something while its teaching them the best thing ever, organization. The game is not too difficult either. They may need some assistance, but once they figure out what to do they will be learning their minds away.
Snooper Troops is a great game in many ways. The graphics are appealing enough to keep young eyes intrigued, while staying child rated and not becoming too distracting that all the learning they do is lost in all the graphical details. If you love the idea of your children learning some new things while having fun, this would be a great game for them to try. While investigating and figuring out some very interesting things, and still learning some well needed things to grow up with this game is a definite must for any young mind that is still being modeled.
