Super Solvers: Ancient Empires takes you to the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Greece, India & China, and the near east (middle east). In this game, pirates have taken ancient treasures and hidden them and the only way to find their loot is to find your way through the mazes, puzzles and booby traps of each of five levels within each civilization.
Each ensuing level gets more and more difficult as new creatures emerge to try and kill you and traps emerge, such as moving walls and conveyer belts to stop you along the way.
The game contains everything from ladybugs and ants, to spiders falling from the ceiling to a giant praying mantis firing a fireball at you! The user’s character can use his force field to avoid these creatures and flip switches and hit ceiling buttons to get through each level's challenges.
The main goal in each level is to gather six artifacts and find a secret door to exit the level. After going through the secret door, the user will have to put together a puzzle of some historic artifact of the civilization's level that you are playing. The puzzle is fairly simple and when complete the user then has to decipher another challenge by selecting which piece of the puzzle is missing to go to the next level
and repeat the process.
The user has to complete the first four levels of each empire before the fifth level for each civilization will be accessible. The newly opened fifth level for each civilization is more difficult than the previous four, so new strategies will be needed to get through the levels. And finally when all the number five levels are completed, there is a final level which is unaffiliated with the other civilizations and artifacts, and will mark the end of the game upon its completion.
There is a special surprise when you do beat the game. No spoiler here. In case you were wondering about difficulty and the game being too easy or hard, there are two difficulty levels to choose from at the beginning of the game: a normal mode and an expert mode so the game has pretty good replay value and can be challenging to even older users in the expert mode.
