As a rookie detective, you will need to go after Carmen who is out on the loose with her gang of thieves.
An item has just been stolen by Carmen’s group and now you have to go after them and make the arrest. There will be a time limit to solve the case so you must be able to issue the warrant of arrest before the time runs up.
The game becomes more difficult as it progresses because as you solve more cases, the more promotions you get at work and the tougher the cases become. The time limit for the case also becomes shorter so you will need to work faster at figuring out the clues that were given by the informants.
When you first get to the crime scene you will receive clues as to where Carmen and her gang went. You will be given a few choices and you must make the right choice as to where to go next. So you follow them to that place and when you get there you will receive more information from witnesses.
You will input all the clues you will receive in the computer system. The computer system will be the one to issue the warrant of arrest. Without this warrant even if you catch the thief you will not be able to make an arrest.
An original feature of the Where in Space game that is not available in the other Carmen Sandiego games is the ability to scan a part of the star map based on the clues given. You also have the probe option which allows you to get objects floating around in the space.
The Carmen Sandiego series is a game worth downloading and keeping in your hard drive. The game was created for school-aged children but even adults will enjoy playing this game for many, many hours.
