When you get to the next location, you will once again receive new clues from different informants and you will continue to follow Carmen Sandiego until you make the arrest. You must be able to make the arrest before the prescribed time lapses. As you gain more experience and solve more cases the time allowed to solve the case also becomes shorter. This means it will become progressively harder to solve the cases because you will have to quickly guess Carmen’s location with fewer clues. There will be less room for error, so you won't have time to follow a red herring.
