Game Review (written by A7xforeever) Added on: 02/24/2009
Lingo is a game based on the tv show where you have to find a word of five letters. You already know the first letter of the word. To guess it, you have to say the word you think is the right one. If one of the letters of the word is in the right one, it will be in red. If the letter is in the word but not in the right place, it will be colored in yellow.
If you find the word quickly enough, you can pick up a ball with a number. If you are quicker, you can pick more than one ball. With the balls, you have to do a 'bingo' which is one of the reasons why this game is called 'lingo', If you do, you will receive money, But be careful, you are against another team that can be your friend or a foe! If you beat them, you can proceed to the finals. In the finals, you have a certain amount of time to find the most words you can guess with the same rules as in the initial round, but everytime you find a word, a new one has to

be guessed. When the time runs out, you can pick up numbers, so you can get a lingo. If you do you will receive the biggest amount of money. Lingo is an international tv show that aired in many countries like: Canada, United Kingdom, Portugal and, of course, the United-States of America. The rules are always the same in every country bu the languages change depending on the main language of the country the show is airing in. The show debuted in 1987 with Michael Reagan and Dusty Martell. A special episode of Lingo aired with every host of game shows in GSN. There were a total of 475 episode which includes 345 with GSN. It originally debuted with the syndication, but was revived by GSN later on. Lingo is a game that everyone wants to be a part of. You can make teams and have fun. You can also try to beat the record in your family and friends. When you want to share great times with the ones you love the most, Lingo is the perfect game for that. When I was younger, I've always watched that game on tv, but I never knew that there was a game based on that. One day, I learned it and I tried that game and it was awesome, because that game refreshed my memories. You can surely have fun with it. It is a fact because, I don't know anyone who doesn't like that game!
