Game Review (written by Superbum3) Added on: 05/01/2007
This game is based of the very old and popular game show from the 70's and 80's. The game itself is a very decent game, runs very well and very easy to understand, but it gets old very quickly. There is really nothing to special about it, just picking cards. Higher or lower or stop.
Hold me back, I can barley contain myself. This is the main concept of the game. You are asked some random and crazy question and you or you’re opponent have to give a number answer between one and one hundred.
Then the other person guesses whether or not you believe the number is actually higher or lower. If you are right you then get to play around with your cards if not, your opponent gets to play with his cards. The deal with the cards is that your first card gets flip. You can either keep it or trade it for another card. Then with that card you have to guess if the next card is higher or lower. Two’s are lowest and Ace’s are highest. Then if you guess all five correctly you then win that game. Best of 3 games to win the series.
Then the bonus round you gets to guess higher or lower but you are going to gamble fake money. Whew, talk about excitement. Then you get to do it all over again. Not a very challenging game. I guess if you are looking for a decently enjoyable game and are a huge fan of the show you should download it. If you just want to try it, take a card deck and lay out 5 cards. Flip one over and ask yourself do you think if it is higher or lower. Because there are not very many questions and they begin to repeat after a while and you always guess correctly. Unless you have a really bad memory and then you might loose a couple of rounds. But I personally have never lost in it because it is a very easy game.
Personally I believe the show is much more enjoyable because of the people’s personalities and always giving you weird ideas on why they think you are wrong and they are right. But maybe this is the game that you have always been looking for.

This game is good for a trip down memory lane. It revisits the old game show that can still be seen on gsn.
