Game Review (written by Xioncrimson) Added on: 07/27/2007
H2O is a pretty straight forward game, it will take you only a minute or so to get the hang of it. The "H2O" are little pixels with physics pulling them down to the bottom of the screen, it is a simplistic interpretation of water, although the H2O does not splash or tumble or anything fancy. The point of this game is to get as much H2O from the beginning tube to the end tube without losing the H2O along the way. Also, you must get all the targeted H2O to the end before time runs out.

There are some strange and interesting levels and you have an arsenal of options to choose from in order to blow up blockades, bridge gaps, make walls, construct funnels, etc. in order to make a route for the H2O. It is important that you know you are not just building a pipe line for the H2O, you are actually blowing off and adding pieces to the background images that makes up the level, but be warned do not squander your tools or you will accomplish nothing, it takes a little aim to toss the items without wasting them. Your items bar is replenished at the end of the level. The H2O runs along the image and the tools you have used

to go where ever you sent it to.
In the first few levels you get quite a bit of time to look around an access the path to the “finish pipe”, but as you progress you get less and less time. The levels get a lot more challenging as you continue and if you are not quick enough you’ll lose half of your H2O right away, to little cracks in the image or buy missing the pipe. This game is similar to lemmings, only that you have little pixels to get to the end rather than little characters and that most of the emphasis on moment is vertical rather than horizontal. The music is as to be expected from a game form last century.
The graphics are your average bitmap. H2O will entertain you for about an hour and the level's art is pretty cool if you can appreciate what they had to work with. when I was a kid I played this game religiously trying to not let a single "drop" or pixel escape. I spent a lot of time in front of my computer, I figured it was the coolest game ever. I look back and think I would give it another go. If you can take into account the age of this game, I am sure you will like it enough to make downloading it worth your time.
