Lemmings Xmas 94 is a Yuletide twist on an old favorite. In the tradition of lemmings the levels increase in difficulty as the landscape grows more complex. The music is just as fast paced and fun as always, but is Christmas themed instead; as can be also said for the little lemmings. With their little Santa hats and their green hair beneath them the Christmas colors reign supreme.
From digging and bashing their way through ice and snow, to climbing, floating, building and stopping.

From digging and bashing their way through ice and snow, to climbing, floating, building and stopping. These busy little fellows are eager to please. I mean, let’s face it; it’s in their best interests to help out. Their little lives depend on it. Unfortunately there are some levels on which a few must be sacrificed as stoppers or walking
bombs to save the many.
Their home is also keeping with the Christmas theme and soft, fluffy, white snow is everywhere! As always there are choices as to degree of difficulty, music and sound levels; although I know of only one person who has conquered them all.
Many a day has been spent desperately trying to save the lemmings, many times ending with a long line of lemmings being let out at a speed of 99 and falling repetitively to their deaths with little splats of red and pink and a continuous “ach!” sound.
This not dissimilar to the times my kid sister played for the simple and at times disturbing reason of watching them all count down to 5, scream “oh-no!” then with a resounding “pop!” blow up.
Although for a fictional race the lemmings do have some very real human counterparts: with brickies who lay a few bricks and then give up and walk off; to lemmings who will stay in someone’s way just because we tell them to and finally more little Santas than you can point a cursor at just like the real world at Christmas time with department stores, malls and street corners laden with the jolly, red clothed, white-bearded men we expect at that time of year. I am sure there are more diagonals to be drawn but at this point in time I can’t think of them.
Overall this game is not hugely different to the many other versions out there. However in keeping with the spirit of Christmas and Lemmings everywhere it is just a bit of harmless fun. Provided, that is you get organized and manage to rescue them all.
