Mah Jongg is an exciting puzzle game with the power to fascinate gamers of all ages. While this intense, brain incorporating game can be extremely frustrating and often time-consuming, it is time spent well-amused. The player has to be able to see the matches, and to solve this puzzle game quickly in order to succeed or to score big points.
While this is a matching game, it isn't the typical "find the match" game that we knew it the past. The layout of these tiles changes the entire perspective of the game we knew.
The gamer must look at tiles, laid out in a pattern, overlapping, and try to remove all the tiles on the game board by finding the matches. The tiles are stacked, often making some of them invisible to the eye until those above them are removed. When you find a match then the tiles disappear, revealing the tiles beneath it. However, it isn't that easy, because only tiles that have been completely revealed, and have no tiles on top of it can be found as a match and removed. Moreover, the tile has to be able to slide freely to the right or left without another tile touching so much as a smidge of the sides. This is the part of the game which can leave even
the most accelerated strategic gamer hopeless.
This game involves intense strategy, brain power, and time. As you improve, and move up through the levels, you are to face new layouts, increasing steadily in difficulty. Sometimes this difficulty increases by adding the amount of tiles, sometimes simply but making the layout more difficult to uncover the tiles, and sometimes the layout involves both.
This intense, and strategic game incorporates all the typical gamers abilities, drawing them in, much like a light compels a bug to come to it unwillingly. It has captured the attention, and made many its fan throughout the ages. All in all, this game is addicting, taking you in for what seems like only 15 minutes, but you come back to reality and come to find you've been lost in the world of mah jongg for 3 hours. This happens frequently, however, every second spent playing is enjoyable. It is a game unlike any other, incorporating the best, and most entertaining aspects of all the different games we have grown up with, and the games we know and love. This mix leaves us playing something which seems oddly, and strangely familiar, yet a game unlike any other, a game unlike any we have played previously. If you play this game, you will become addicted to it.
