This is a classic DOS game. It is basically like the old TV game show. You can play against the computer or a friend. The game is simple you either give or receive words to try and guess the clue. There are 5 clues to guess the password and if you get the password correct you win the money for that round. If you win the game you go to the bonus round and try to win 10,000 dollars, which is almost impossible. The graphics are classic DOS, about three colors and that undeniable DOS sound.
I first started playing the game on my family's first IBM computer. No mouse, no joystick, just the keyboard and hours of fun. I believe it has standing and a chance to be a returning champion but I am not sure. This game is very similar to some of the other classic DOS TV game shows like Classic Concentration , Family Feud, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune. The graphics are basically the same with about the same game speed. This game is a little deeper then those however as it does not repeat puzzle and questions as much as the others.
The best part of this game is when you are giving clues you can just give the clues the computer
player gave his partner and most of the time your partner will give you the correct answer. It is also fun to tell the computer "I Don’t Know." The spelling in this game is very touchy so make sure you have everything spelled correctly before you push enter. This game can also be frustrating if your computer partner is stupid. It sounds crazy but sometimes you get the dumb partner and it won’t matter what you do... chances are you are not going to win. And like I said early, it is very hard to win the bonus round as you only get sixty seconds to guess 10 to 15 words correctly. The only nice thing is they give the first letter of each word. You start at a spot in the alphabet and go to for the next 10 to 15 letters. If you get them all correct within 60 or 90 seconds you win.
This is one of my favorite DOS games and that includes all DOS games that have played not just the TV game show DOS games. It is clever and just a classic game show that really plays out exactly how it does on TV. I would rate this game about 4.5 out 5.
