The story of Xanth is a separate world of fantasy co-existing (supposedly) with the real world. Travelers have found their way to this parallel world of magic, where every creature has a special type of magic specifically dedicated to that being.

As with most puzzle type games,
you can expect that some items will be required or action will need to be performed that will progress the story along. Its uniqueness is the companion novel, which I recommend you download or find elsewhere, because it really brings the game to a new light. So take a moment, make a decision and explore the magical world of Xanth. It will make you feel like a kid again.
