Dungeons and Dragons is a great teaching tool to see help people develop the skills required to act, see thing from a different angle and also to think outside the box.
It helps creativity, ingenuity, design skills writing skills and other such tasks.
A good dungeons and dragons story involves all the characters all their motives and all their hopes and dreams. Characters should come to life in the story.
Many things can influence a game. But the biggest thing to keep in mind is that outside the game influences should not influence in game protocols.
You being upset because your best friend kissed your girl, and they both are involved in your session can cause great unbalance in the game.
These factors can create what is called a "BROKEN" game. Referring to the heavy unbalance the turbulence causes. This is a pitfall of role-playing called "METAGAMING!"
MetaGAMING means using outside information for inside game purposes. It’s not fair. And makes it unpleasant.
The game as a whole is good, great in fact. It leaves a very little room for error. But the steps have been both ways. In stopping player interpreted error, the game is bogged with logistics. Play enjoy, try not to sweat the little stuff. Truthfully this game is super. I like the way it goes
they way it runs and how it’s played.
But my last and final words are for the parents of the gamers who are young enough to be parented. IT IS A GAME! A game just a game nothing more and nothing less, it is for fun, taken to seriously washing the dishes can be harmful, this GAME is not now nor has it ever been HARMFUL, demon worshiping, songs of satan, debauchery, evil, or any of the other highly offensive debilitating terms that have been used to describe this the favored past time of our growing generations, many actors and famous names have played and enjoyed this game.
With that I leave you to the playing and the purchase of these well licensed, well franchised, highly respected and recommended game.
Thank you for your time and you have your selves a wonderful day now.
Sincerely ~ Adam L Murphy
