Knights of Legend is without a doubt the best RPG game, ever. It starts with your character beginning in the tavern and having to recruit others into their company. All of these characters can be made by yourself and will be chosen from the four different races. Human, dwarf, elf, and Keldon (a flying race of humanoid creatures). All of the stats involved in the making of these character have meaning. Meaning that when it gives you a size stat it actually has purpose in the game.
Such as if you are a large creature, armour bought or taken of a normal size, will not fit until it has been fitted to you. The same thing goes for Dwarves and the armour they can wear. With any character, no matter the race, size is a variable (you can have short elves and you can have tall dwarves). Not only does size effect armour but it also dictates if you can ride a horse or where you can strike a foe.
In Knights of Legend, the combat is to me, the most impressive aspect of the game. I'm still waiting for a game that even comes close to achieving the complexity of the combat sequences. Each character has the ability
to see what their opponent is going to do next. With the ability to aim your blows, the ability to dodge, the ability to jump, duck and parry against your opponents attacks it makes for awesome battles. Some characters will be able to tell what everyone around them is doing while others who do not have a high foresight stat will be able to see nothing. When a character is hit in the are or leg, with enough force, that limb then becomes useless. The same applies for damage to the torso and head (usually resulting in unconsciousness).
I could babble on and on for hours. This is just a brief review on a very incredible game. There are just too many aspects of the game that need to be touched on to really get a true feel for the game. As a child many, many hours were spent absorbed in this game. To really appreciate this game you have to download and just enjoy.
