Game Review (written by Shadow_falls666) Added on: 05/31/2007
This is the third instalment of the series which is polls of radiance, secret of the silver blades and finally pools of darkness. We would make three characters apiece and then when in combat we would each move and decide what they did. It was an awesome game and quite simple there are few better. The ice wind dale games are possibly the only ones nowadays that take you back to the feeling that these games here give you.
In this game you are able to make 6 characters.

In this game you are able to make 6 characters. I recommend having at least one thief, one cleric, one paladin and then the rest as you wish the mage is nearly a must for the massive damage capabilities they have. If you choose to make

it the game is quite long. And tough following fairly strictly to the dungeons and dragons rules in regards to damage, combat, spells, monsters and enemies. If you fight a dragon do what you can to it but remember it will use its breath weapon.
Also be careful when you use lightning bolt. It tends to bounce a lot and can demolish many enemies but also some of your own people if you calculate wrong.
In this game you’re trying to protect I believe the pools of radiance from being corrupted and powering some demon. Riders, horrible bandits and other wonderful enemies populate this game to make you think twice about this adventure three or four times a day. However it is quite wonderful and very decently strategy oriented. This game is excellent for anyone and I recommend it. It’s really fantastic game!
