Carrier Command is a masterful blend of real time strategy and fun scenarios.
The game play, it's very much enjoyable. You just build buildings and then build your units, then compile a ton of them and then attack. Well, once you play it for some time, you'll realize that there's actually no point in the game (except for the story). All you have to do is to create a massive force and charge them at the enemies.
If you have a large number of tanks against a small amount of your enemy's, you'll win.

If you have a large number of tanks against a small amount of your enemy's, you'll win. Unlike other games out there, there's strategy like invisibility, upgrades to the units, more concentration on terrain, etc. For the controls, it's quite hard. Especially, if you want to use
the keyboard to control the actions of your units. It does take practice to master. You'll play and play this game until you master the controls and win every game. But, it has a good replay value and you can always put yourself in a challenge of beating 7 computer players with hard levels. You can also try different maps and battle your hearts out. Each side has different buildings, tanks, and prices. You can buy some tanks that you can’t buy on the other side, likewise with the structures. Most structures have prerequisites, so you can’t just start off building mammoth tanks. The allies focus mainly on their navy fleets, whereas the Soviets are more concerned with their air force, and huge tanks. Supposedly these equal each other out, but in reality, the Soviets out-match the Allies the majority of the time. Unless it’s strictly water-based combat, the Soviets have the upper edge.
It’s hard to go wrong with the new skirmish mode, allowing you to choose sides (Soviet or Allies) and customize everything about your game. You can set the technology level from 1 to 10, allowing you to play a World War I or maybe a future-type war. You can also play online with the skirmish mode, playing your friends at their houses, or someone you don’t know from across the world. There’s relatively no lag, so you’ll be happy to know everything runs smoothly.
There’s also a campaign mode, allowing you to choose your side, and play different missions with them. The Soviet branch has 14 missions, whereas the Allies have 15, creating a lot for you to finish. Also, before and after the missions, you’ll see a cut-scene, usually with generals planning for an attack or defence. There is a lot of work to do on these campaigns though, so you better get busy!
I love this game for its difficulty, fun, addiction and interest! I’m sure you will like it too! It’s worth downloading!
