Detroit brings to the box an elegant managerial monopoly within the car industry. Beginning in the early 1900's you work your way through eras such as the depression, struggling to survive as this game's difficulty level reveals its true rating.
You control development, research, factories, marketing, as well as other areas of production on your way to becoming a major corporation in the motoring industry.
At first glimpse, this game appears dull and under designed, but then it snags a hold of you, keeping your interest for hours at a time as you tinker with demographics on your way to becoming number one.

At first glimpse, this game appears dull and under designed, but then it snags a hold of you, keeping your interest for hours at a time as you tinker with demographics on your way to becoming number one. I simply began playing this game out of boredom, nothing better to do, but continued to play for the difficulty in maintaining supremacy over the other
companies. For those of you who enjoy a challenge where you're constantly guessing, everything appears to come all at once, and there's something different around the next corner.
The most fun you’ll get in Detroit is within the designing and testing of each model car. As the years pass you'll get to select your cars' individual look and style, running through a checklist of accessories including bodywork, fuel mileage, seats, upholstery, air conditioning etc. Styles change, although funnily enough, the buildings and rooms fail to keep up with trends, almost as if they are stuck in the same time period.
All in all, nice game to try. Worth a download.
