FA-18 Hornet 3.0 is a simulation of the FA 18 Hornet fighter plane capabilities. The air simulation is done in multiple approaches such as the ways of attack and the terrain. The game has a series of training missions teaching you how to fly your jet. There isn’t a campaign mode included in this game, but there is a carrier mode where you will fly in multiple spots around the world.
This game is based around Pearl Harbour with at least four airports around the globe including two big multi runway jobs. The Hawaiian Islands have been included into this simulation. Honolulu has amazing detail done to it. Some parts of the background have been sketched with little detail, but this doesn’t reflect badly onto the game. The level of detail done to other parts of the game makes up for the few areas in the game that have not had as much.
The FA 18 has a few changes done to it physically and artillery wise. The modeling and textures are a realistic then most techniques but the game demonstrates an above average detail. The weapons physics are quite similar in many ways compared to the real ones with modest range of error. The designs of the weapons artistically are not as realistic but the game makes up for that in its own.
The plane has easy controls with a few keyboard commands and the use of either your mouse or joystick depending on which you prefer to use. There are plenty of shooting opportunities and tons of instrument options but you do not have to use them if you don’t feel comfortable with the game yet. With the simplicity of the controls and the assistance with training at the beginning of the game the level of difficulty in this game is not too difficult. Once you go through with all the training and get the controls down pack you will be going out killing your enemies easier than you thought was possible.
This game is one of the very popular flight simulation games out there. You will be taking control of one of the most powerful jet fighter planes created in the world. You will eventually be battling it out in the war based in the Middle East. If you enjoy flight simulation games you will love this one. It is not lacking in excitement at any point. With the training that you can do, landing on the aircraft carriers will soon be a piece of cake! If you downloading it immediately you’ll be satisfied and delighted, I’m sure!

This is an addictive game with passable graphics and awesome gameplay. For anyone who likes old-school flight simulators, this game is one of the best. It's fast-paced with a fairly standard control setup, and one of the best games in its class and of its time.
One great plus for F-18 is the way this game incorporates realistic flight controls and weaponry. The combat is great, and always leaves you hungry for more action. That's another great thing about this game - you can play it over and over. It's so much fun, and since the gameplay is fairly dynamic, you won't get a lot of repetitive scenes. Rather, it's engaging, challenging, and fun every time you play it.
I highly recommend that you download this game and play it. I like this game a lot, and play it more than could possibly be considered healthy.
IN SUMMARY: Get this game! Now! Right this second! It's worth it!

Remember playing this some time back. Pretty good for its time. Had good graphics and playability at the time. Of course it’s not flight simulator X but considering it was made for computers less powerful than your mobile phone. It was a good game. Take a hornet out for a spin and re live your old days of staying up late to play crappy old games that were cutting edge at the time.Quantos (04/06/2007)

Run Setup.exe and if necessary, copy crack.com into the game dir and run it.
If you have in-game problems, try 256 colors in windows only, that might help. |
