Sim Sheep 2 is a silly little game that involves the raising and breeding of various kinds of sheep that are eventually sold for profit. It is most favourably compared to the modern day Tycoon games, such as Fish Tycoon or Plant Tycoon that don’t involve much in the way of building or upgrading, but concentrate more on breeding individual creatures to find specific breeds and sell them for money.
The main objective of Sim Sheep 2 is to make the sheep live out long and healthy lives.

The main objective of Sim Sheep 2 is to make the sheep live out long and healthy lives. It sounds easy, but there are a lot of details for the user to attend to in order to make this happen. From the time a sheep is born on the ranch, the user is in control
of its every move. There are many avenues to happy sheep.
First, the sheep’s basic needs must be provided for by the user. The sheep must have food and water and must be able to rest. Sim Sheep 2 also plays on the idea that sheep are social animals and your sheep will be able to make friends in the pasture. Eventually, some of these friendships may lead to something else (and that act is, in fact, shown on the screen when it occurs…it seems to make sheep very happy) and little lambs will be born, making new sheep to care for.
One of the more interesting aspects of caring for the virtual sheep is determining the personality of the sheep. Sheep can be team players (good sheep) or selfish brutes (bad sheep). Both have advantages and disadvantages. Pleasant sheep make friends more easily within the flock and others will be more inclined to peacefully share the pasture. However, evil sheep have the ability to eat dead sheep to relinquish their hunger. They are also physically stronger than nice sheep. The user must also watch out for sick sheep, because they have the ability to inflict disease on the rest of the flock. There are also obstacles the user can provide to keep the sheep entertained (not counting other sheep).
Eventually, there will be lambs a plenty and the user must determine what to do with them. Sheep must be sold in order to make money, but they are not sold to the good granny down the road or the local petting zoo. They go straight to the slaughterhouse. However, all sorts of fun things can be purchased with the money gleaned from selling off the sheep, including television sets.
Overall, this game is a little off centre, but has a market. Give it a try. It is humorous and entertaining, and at least worth a voyeuristic look!!
