The game Wilderness: A Survival Adventure is a text adventure game. The game employs several factors about your character that can affect how you play the game. In the beginning you will be asked for data and statistics like your height, age, etc. All these factors will affect your speed, strength and others. Your character can even be affected by hunger, illness and such other factors.
In the game, there is a scenario where the plane you are in suddenly crushes in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

You will have to get to the ranger’s outpost to be able to survive. Thankfully you find a map in the plane that shows the exact location of the ranger’s outpost. The thing is since you don’t know exactly the plane crashed you don’t know where you are in the map. You need to figure that out first. You can figure out where you are by typing in the commands: “turn left” or “turn right” and other commands. You can figure out where you are based on the surroundings. It is important to check your inventory before you leave the crash site so you can get some important items that are just lying on the ground.
Then you can go on your way and find the ranger’s outpost. Because you are in the middle of the mountain there will be many dangers that you have to avoid and obstacles that you need to overcome. There are animals in the wild that you can hunt but of course you need a weapon to hunt the animal. You also need to set a fire to cook the meat. These animals will also steal food from you when given the opportunity.
At first the game is difficult to play because you need to figure out the text commands. It will take a while to figure out all of the commands so you can make the most out of the game and to make sure that you survive the wilderness. In the beginning, you can choose to keep a notepad or a piece of paper close by so you can take jot down the commands.
Another scenario in the game involves playing the role of an archaeologist that has to find the lost city of gold. The game play is similar but the challenges in the two games are different.
The game features 3-D graphics that really add to the realism of the game. Overall, it’s a fantastic game that is simply fun to play.
