Big Red Racing is an arcade racing simulation that is out of the ordinary when it comes to the vehicles you will be racing. The selection between the vehicles is by far out of this world. Instead of the usual racing cars you will be able to select from vehicles like a boat, spacecrafts, helicopters and many more. There are a total of sixteen different vehicles to select from. There is also the selection from six different characters that will be the driver of your vehicle. They do not have a big impact on the game, but you do need a driver. Big Red Racing can also be played over your modem or through the network and be able to play up to six drivers. This is a great feature if you are looking for new and exciting racings to challenge.
There are seven different terrains that have a total of twenty-four circuits to race on. The terrains vary between inner city to the futuristic sci-fi design. The game is viewed in a two player split screen from behind your vehicle or in the front seat.
The graphics in the game have been done in a wonderful SVGA format. Some people may have to use a VGA format, but in all the graphics have been well done. The sound effects as well have been done to standards. They aren’t the regular beep kind of sounds, but nothing too fancy. The controls in this game can be done with a keyboard, joystick and game pad, or the use of a racing wheel and pedal that is compatible. Each one of these ways of driving is available with all the vehicles. Depending on the track you are racing on will depend on the vehicles to select from. The vehicles will match the games terrain.
Big Red Racing overall isn’t too difficult of a game. Once you figure out all the controls and how to drive each vehicle you will be speeding through this game in no time. This game is definitely a replay able game. With the unexpectedness of each race you can continue playing it over and over again. With the different vehicles and terrains, many knew this game was going to be something when it first came out. Big Red Racing is a great racing simulation for any age group. There are different levels of difficult to attempt ranging from easy mode to hard mode. Each becomes a little more difficult then the previous. With the ability to select how difficult you want the game to be, you soon will be playing a game that is set to your standards.
Big Red Racing has become a phenomenal racing simulation. There are so many things about this game that make it very unique. If you enjoy racing games and are looking for something a little different than most racing simulations Big Red Racing is a game you should try out.

In this game, it may seem like a plain, racing game but don’t judge a book by its cover. It actually is a really good racing game that you could lose yourself in for hours and hours unlike many annoying, car racing games. In this game you choose a character that’s cartoon like, choose a vehicle from heaps of options and then choose one of the seven environments. You can race through deserts, spacey ones and the one I like, which is a water one.
It really is a good game because normally in games you get really annoyed at them and you can’t help it, but not in this one, you’re having too much fun playing through all the stuff. Even if you’re like coming last, it doesn’t annoy you because you feel as if you still might win.
I never really liked racing car games except for that one. It’s really, really good. It may look kinda cheesy, especially considering the name but it is actually a lot of fun. I’m going to recommend this to everybody. It’s a good way to pass the time and all the places, characters and vehicles make it so much more interesting. So if you’re looking for a great game to play this has to be it. Like I said, don’t be put off by its cheesy name or its cartoon like feel. With big red racing, the fun just never stops.
