Game Review (written by Chrissi) Added on: 11/29/2007
Deadly Racer is a great arcade rally racing game. You will be taking the part of the driver of one of the seven cars. There are three different games you are able to take part in. These consist of practice race, single race, and the world championships. Each track has been designed with its own unique surroundings, and there are tons of extras and obstacles.
There are a total of four tracks that you can choose to play on, each being unique with its set up and all the added features throughout it.
The terrains can consist of city, marsh, desert, or snow. With this varying of terrains this gives an extra feel to the atmosphere for the tracks giving you something to look at other than a black road. The vehicles in this game have been designed like real vehicles with just minor changes to the name. The names of the cars are very similar to the real makers so there is no doubt you’ll know what company they are suppose to be resembling.
The controls that have been used in this game are as well very simple to use and don’t take too much effort either. With the simple controls you will find this game to become quite simple. There isn’t too much difficulty to this game. Main goal is to try getting first place like any race simulation ever created. The only difference is that you will be driving rally cars, which means a little more excitement to the driving. You have a choice to either play the game using your keyboard controls or using a joystick. This solely depends on what you feel more comfortable using.
The graphics are very well done. There is so much detail put into everything throughout this entire game. For an arcade racing simulation you wouldn’t have expected this much effort put into the graphical details, but they have definitely been done over the top. They are very smooth and the animations are very clean and sharp that have been combined with real pictures.
Deadly Racer has been a misunderstood game by many just because of the title. Deadly Racer is a great arcade racing simulation that all ages could attempt and enjoy. This game will take you to a new driving experience and will surely get you interested for a long time. Deadly Racer is a great game that should be enjoyed by all gamers out there who loves those unexpected games.
