Game Review (written by Ravstar11) Added on: 06/24/2008
Grand Prix Circuit is one of the best games I think. It has so, so many tracks and for all the different tracks it has got it seems to have a different car as well! All the tracks are of different sizes and shapes and so this makes the game more fun to play with as you never know what is coming next. What I love most about this game is the fact that the graphics are not to the best standard yet the game is more focused on the fun it gives to the player instead of how it looks, and to me that is important as there is no point of a game having good graphics etc, when the game itself is just plain boring to play.

Saying that the developers of the game have also concentrated on minor details like the scenery, when driving around the first track there seems to be some random humps around the track, but then you just relies that it is all there to add to the scenery. Inside the cars is everything you would expect and it is all readable unlike some games I find it hard find the clutch let alone reading the speed dial! All the colours go very well and neat, like there is are green humps and red cars, this once again shows that the game has not been rushed and the developers have at least realized what kind of colours viewers do not mind and that is

great that they have taken this into account I think.
Another thing I like a lot about this game is the other cars that race around you, you can tell some attention of detail has been put into this as the closer you get the more you realize what the object moving beside you actually is, again unlike some games it just seems like a big circle blob trying to over take you.
Furthermore, I really like the sound of the cars and although it is not the best sound of a racing car, it makes me happy enough to stay addicted to the game for about three hours a day, I’d say. Also, it is great to know that you r opponent’s cars also make some kind of noise and are not noiseless.
In Conclusion, I really like the game overall, yes it is not the best but attention for detail does not really matter so much because when the game is as addictive as I say it is than who really cars about the graphics etc...it is the fun which to me is more important in life!

Grand Prix Circuit play needs skill of a race driver. In the early 1990's this game satisfied racing enthusiasts. I still believe to this day this game could challenge the skill of joystick gamers inspite of its simplicity. Let's download and meet at the (monitor) track.
