Game Review (written by 4einc) Added on: 11/21/2007
Hardball is a great game, it's one of the first baseball simulators that I've laid my hands on but of course it was for a console when I first managed to dip into the hardball series, but it certainly opened my eyes and made me want to get more into the simulation world as it truly was one of the fun baseball games that I remember playing, I can see how the hardball series have lead the way to today’s standards, it's not hard to see how that is very possible when you have a high level of gaming in the hardball series, even though the early hardball games never had the endorsement or the full MLB behind it, it didn't need it.
.. Hardball brought something new to the table it allowed it's users to use it's imagination in order to run there own league and strive to have the best team as well as watch or play against friends or the computer for that matter.
Hardball will always be one of my favourites, I remember being glued to the TV while I ran a simulation league through it with friends and family, I was so deep into the game you wouldn't see me for days on end while I was trying to figure out every aspect of the game and always studying each team like a manager should.
If you’re new into checking out some classic games be sure to test out the hardball series because I'm sure that you'll find one of them that you'll definitely like and you'll find yourself playing it more and more.
You may even find yourself addicted to the game just like I was when I was younger and playing Hardball 3 on the Sega Genesis but who knows, as I know when playing games on a console then up on a PC the PC always brings that much more into the factor so it very well maybe the game series you’re looking for if you’re looking at starting a fantasy baseball league.... A true fantasy baseball league that is with 100% fantasy players and teams, so go ahead and give the game a shot, you maybe rather surprised to see what it can do for you as well as how fast the little game can certainly grow, but once you start you may be the one missing days on end in order to keep your team running smooth.
So grab the game and dip into the franchise known as Hardball so you can relive a classic gaming moment.
