Game Review (written by Lindsay2) Added on: 11/24/2007
PGA Golf is a realistic game for golfers and non-golfers alike. Many of the features that are in this game have also been transferred over to many of the golf games that you see today, such as the 3-click swing. It has dangers in it like the water hazards, bunkers, and trees. All of which you should avoid, but are a little difficult to do if you do not aim your shot up correctly.
The 3-point click consists of starting the swing, setting the second power and over-swing and setting the draw or fade. When setting up your swing you still have to allow for different variables such as wind speed and direction. When choosing your club, you are given the amount of yards left between you and the hole along with how far the club can possibly hit the ball. Both of which are great for players that do not know anything about golf and are just learning the game.
This particular golf game consists of a couple different courses to choose from, but all require that you use strategy to find the best way to get your ball to the green without going over par. It has both a practice type mode where you can play by yourself and a tournament mode where you can choose to play against approximately 60 professional golfers. Ten of these pros appear with tactical advice and tips for each hole.
The graphics of the game are great. In tournament mode, you can win money at the end of the game by beating your opponent and this also helps your stats as well. It’s very good in design and play; it still can be addictive when you start playing. Especially if you can get a few hole in ones. I highly recommend this wonderful game to anyone! I’m sure you’ll be satisfied!
