Game Review (written by Dafyd) Added on: 02/28/2008
I'm not a big football fan, but this game is simply amazing. No, you won't find the rosters of NFL teams, not even Colleges. What you will get is the ability to create your own teams, set up their play books, and then play against the computer, or, if you have a friend with this game, play against his/her team in head to head action. If you really wanted to, you could, in theory, recreate your favorite NFL team, or the entire league (if you have that kind of time on your hands, that is. ) Teams are limited to 15 offensive and 15 defensive players, so it isn't possible to create a full roster from those teams, but certainly the starting 11, plus a few key subs. There are no injuries in this game, so the small rosters shouldn't be a problem.
What really sets this game apart is the Playbook feature. With it, you can set up your team's playbook, including offensive, defensive, and special teams. Once you've set up that passing play, you then will want to take it to the practice field to make sure the timing of the pass makes it viable. Same goes for running plays.

Dafyd (02/28/2008) I had this game back when I had my Macintosh. I'm not a big fan of the sport, but this game is simply amazing. The ability to create your own teams, including their playbooks makes this game simply a pleasure. |
